About Us
Eklavya Model Residential School (CBSE) Attappady is established on 20th June, 2022 to impart quality education to ST children. It is one of the developmental interventions of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt of India. It is located in the Kila Campus, Agali post, Attappady Tribal block of Palakkad district Kerala. The school was inaugurated by K. Radhakrishnan Honourable Minister for Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes , Backward Classes, Devaswoms and parliamentary affairs Govt of Kerala. The school is co educational. At present it consists of grades 6 and 7 with 120 children, 60 boys and 60 girls. Every year 60 students are admitted to class 6. English is the medium of instruction in the school and NCERT curriculum is followed.
