Admission in EMRS is made on the basis of written test followed by interview. The entrance test is conducted for class 6 all over the state for tribal children. Only those children of Scheduled Tribes category and whose family annual income doesn’t exceed 2 lakhs are eligible to appear for the test. However children belonging to Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group ( PVTG) are exempted from writing the test and the above income criteria.
