Eklavya Model Residential School Attappady has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostel rooms are technically designed to suit the students’ requirements. There are well furnished three double storeyed buildings for boys and a single double storeyed building for girls. Each student is provided with a cot and a cabin to keep his /her belongings separately. Toilets and bathrooms in the hostels are hygienically maintained by the hostel staff. The hostel has a good playground and entertainment room for their recreational purposes. It has a dining area where 60 students can dine at a time. Nutritious, balanced and hygienic meals according to the food chart is provided to the students. Girls are looked after by two Ayahs and boys by two watchmen who stay in the hostel with the children day and night. Apart from them a security is also entrusted the duty to take care of the hostel.
